Bruno Mars is my favourite pop singer. He was born on October 8, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Bruno Mars grew up (cresceu) in a very musical family. His father, Pete, was a Latin percussionist (percussionista- alguém que toca instrumentos de percussão) from Brooklyn, and his mother, Bernadette ("Bernie"), was a singer.
When he was young he was a student at Roosevelt High School, where he and several friends formed a band, "The School Boys".
In 2002, when he was 17 years old, Bruno Mars decided to leave (decidiu sair/deixar) Hawaii for Los Angeles.
Today he is an actor (He was in the film: "Lua de mel em Las Vegas") a composer and a very famous singer.
His first number one hit was: Billionaire and his famous songs/solos are: "Just the Way You Are" and "Grenade".
He is very famous especially among girls. He has got a girlfriend. Her name is Jessica Caban and she isn´t famous.
