Jay-Z is my favourite singer. He is a famous rapper. His real name is Shawn Carter and he was born on the 4th December of 1969 in Brooklyn - New York.
When he was a young boy his hero was the rapper Jaz-O.
Today Jay-Z is very famous and his first number one hit was: "Heartbreaker" with Mariah Carey.
His famous songs are: "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys and "Crazy in love" with his wife Beyoncé.
He was recently father for the first time. They (Beyoncé and him) welcomed their first child, a daughter named Blue Ivy Carter, on January 7, 2012.
